Taking that training will drain additional stamina depending on the number of delinquents there. You get "vouchers" equals to 2x the number of delinquents you had to face to spend at a special store that offers a variety of bonuses which we'll cover later.
You also get vouchers for trainer events outside of the first meeting event with the scenario's specialized trainers. In weeks 3, 5, and 7 you'll face a "boss fight" mini game which we'll cover later as well.
You'll need at least stamina and sufficiently leveled up Mach Punch and Mach Kick 2 of the 3 skills offered by the scenario to win each boss fight. Below is a description of the 3 UR skills you can get from this scenario, and you'll need to BUY them using vouchers from the scenario's store.
A quick note about trainers - while I'll focus on a pitcher run, RC is great for batters as well, especially if you have Medica and other trainers who have events that restore a lot of stamina.
With Medica I could do a run without needing to bring energy drinks for example. The batter's trainers for RC is shown below.
For this example I'll be using the deck below which doesn't feature Kunio who was available for a limited time. As indicated by the fist icon, Psyker and Yomi are RC trainers.
Psyker will give 15 vouchers per trainer event, and Yomi will give 9. Coring up - I recommend cores that increase max stamina see Core guide for more info on how to use cores. RC is an exercise in managing stamina , gathering vouchers to buy the 3 skills and other goodies, managing stamina, and Do not be afraid of using the lodge!
Tarot Cards let you have 3 extra trainer events. This will come in handy as I try to seek out rapport with Psyker so I can get more vouchers. Week 1 - this will be pretty standard as you meet the trainers.
I recommend you visit the lodge or do skills points training at least once to keep your stamina up. You are not likely to have any special training, and most of your stats gains will come from trainer introduction events. The goal for this week is to manage stamina, and try and level Windsong up once or twice costs 10 to level once, and then another 20 vouchers to level it up again. You can see the stamina penalty is 26 for this G-point training that has 13 delinquents.
We need vouchers so I do it anyway. Let's go to the bookstore tab and upgrade Wind Song twice so we don't suffer as much stamina loss from this point forward:. The goals for this week is to minimally have Wind Song at level 2 so the store shows an offer to upgrade it to level 3 , and Mach Punch and Kick at level 1 so the store shows an offer to upgrade to level 2. You can see I have 2 turns left, and have leveled up my skills.
I'll do one more training to get enough vouchers and upgrade my Mach Kick to level 2,and then use my last turn to rest at the lodge to max out my stamina That skill point training with 19 delinquents 38 vouchers!
I decide to roll the dice and take it, hoping that I end up with a Yomi 9 vouchers or Psyker 15 vouchers. Bingo - I get a Psyker event with 15 vouchers. Different trainers offer items that are randomly placed in the secret shop - items vary week to week and don't always carry over. Even though my cores gave me an additional 24 stamina for a total of , I'm running low if I use my last turn to do training instead of going to the lodge. If I spend 28 of it on the Stamina restore item from the shop, I still gain 10 vouchers plus skill points.
I end up with 18 Stamina before my big fight, and buy discount Tech Burger from Psyker usually offered for 40 vouchers on the Fast Food tab.
Note the item you bought is sold out - Secret Shop items and items requiring gold tickets can only be bought once. Ok exit out of the store by clicking the blue X in the top right and get ready to fight by clicking the bottom right button highlighted below. Below is the fight screen. You will see that my Mach Punch and Kick are at level 2 top left display. The stamina I had before entering the fight determines the time I have to win this boss fight - this is why Wind Song is so important to level up as it influences stamina conservation.
Since I had over stamina, I had well over the minimum 20 seconds I'd normally need to clear the stage. You "fight" by tapping the screen really quickly.
You'll fight a series of small delinquents before fighting the "big Boss". After you win the fight you win From the time bonus to the delinquents defeated, to the boss Save this. Do go to the store and level up Wind Song as much as possible to level 3 or 4 as this will help you save stamina in week 4. Ok onto the next week! You should avoid spending vouchers in the store unless you have more than 2 RC trainers and are having more vouchers than you know what to do with - there are a variety of tempting items but your primary focus should be on maxing out Wind Song, Mach Punch, and Mach Kick.
Week 4 - you should max out Wind Song by the end of this week. Keep gathering vouchers and stats while managing your stamina. You may want to use the lodge once this week as well.
Week 5 - This week has a boss fight and I ran out of stamina and had to use my golden ticket to buy stamina and raise my max stamina by I'm a bit behind schedule, only having a level 2 Mach Kick, but should be able to win this boss fight which is similar to the fight from week 3.
I then go to the Shopping Street and level up Mach Punch and Kick, and save the golden ticket from the week 5 boss fight.
Usually I'd like to have more vouchers at this stage, but by the end of week 6 you should have both Mach Punch and Kick minimally at level 4 - my earlier decisions to chase special stats training instead of vouchers is now limiting my choices moving forward.
I'll need to get 60 vouchers in week 7 to max out one skill, and then get at least 60 vouchers from the week 7 boss fight to max the remaining skill. Random tip - TheKings taught me a simple trick for pitching games if you only want to pitch where there is a "flash mission".
If there is no "Flash Mission" like strikeout, get runner out , press the pause button in the top right. It will skip that at bat and go to the next one. In this way the game can move much quicker which is handy when creating pitchers can get long, even if you try to speed things up with simple pitch which I don't recommend - some players see great success with it, while others like myself Week 7 - This week is another boss fight week.
I manage to get 60 vouchers to max out Mach Punch. The boss fight is different as there are TWO bosses that can sandwich and ping pong Kunio between them. Hopefully it gave you some insight into River City aka RC.
Most pitchers are created in this scenario as the 3 UR skills boosts the player's rating significantly. While most pitchers are created in RC, with Medica in your deck, a lot of batters have been created in this scenario,. Hi, FenixStars here. Below is a rough guide one of our members MonoAI had written a long time ago for our newer club members in USA and TheStates on how to use the deckbuilder tools.
I've polished it up slightly and added information on the Vercel app written by SunnyD. They make no claims on accuracy or that they will build the "perfect" deck for you - but with some careful use they can help you build some interesting decks for you to try out. I've used both apps, and they are interesting tools. I'll focus on the first app by Hums, as it feeds into the vercel app written by SunnyD.
That way you can save your roster, and share it for others to see and help you build decks with. From here you have to manual input your trainer from In game to this page a bit of work but worth it. You can search for specific trainer in the search section of the page scroll down - I recommend filtering by position and selecting batters or pitchers depending if you want to build a batter or pitcher deck:.
First click Profile in the top right you need to be logged into the site first , and then check the "Make your Roster visible to anyone with the link" checkbox, click the Save Settings button and share the link to your roster below that with the person you want to help you with your deck. You can uncheck the checkbox and save the settings to stop sharing your roster. You can see a number on top of each trainer "card". This number indicates the trainer value by Skill compatibility as calculated by the tool the higher the number the better though it's not always the case.
In fact I have built decks with more max skills or higher deck ratings that disagree with the tool's ratings. This is a tool made by a player who has generously shared it with the community, and makes no guarantees - it does however make deckbuilding a lot easier, which you'll discover the more you use it.
From here you want to fill up your trainer slot until you fill up all six slots. You can click a card in any one of the 6 slots of your deck to remove it so you can replace it with another trainers.
Trainers are added to the deck in order of blank slots in other words the first available blank slot in the deck will be filled in with the trainer you select. The skills the tool recommends you get are marked by a star, and the available max skills skills you can level up to their maximum level are highlighted with a 5. At the bottom of the screenshot above are 2 important metrics - the max overall skill level in the example above it's 70 and the skill point cost without discounts.
The higher the skill level, the better as it means the build will have the potential to have a higher overall skill rating if you can buy all the skills starred by the tool, which means the deck has a higher ceiling. You can get a link to share this particular deck by clicking the "Share Deck" button the link will be copied to your clipboard. This tool differs from the Netlify app as it tries to show you the "best" combinations of trainers for a given position.
It isn't perfect nor does the developer guarantee it is - SunnyD is a player who was kind enough to share it with the community and is constantly working on tweaking and improving the tool in their spare time. Constructive comments and suggestions are always welcome but bear in mind SunnyD is making this freely available. A file named "My Roster. For this example we'll be building a pitcher. We'll be building a River City pitcher.
This is useful for hypothetical decks but can get tedious. Select the use roster checkbox and it will load the roster you imported from the Netlify app earlier. The tool can take a LONG time calculating the different combinations, so please try to select between trainers max. You do this by clicking on the trainer until their "card" is highlighted.
You will now see a screen with lots of options for changing how the tool rates the generated decks. I typically leave all the values alone though some may want to reduce the importance of combo events, etc. I typically change the top 3 values to reflect my preferences for at least 1 trainer that specializes in the scenario, and a number of max level 5 skills, along with 1 or more combo events.
I typically leave the other values alone, and I recommend you do so until you're used to the tool. The more trainers you select the slower it will be, but a progress bar with a percentage complete will be displayed. That concludes this guide. It is by no means complete but hopefully introduces the use of these tools adequately for you to get started,.
Make sure you always use all your planet league tickets. There is no need to manual play the whole league, you can just auto it. Now, Cores play a very important role in developing a good My Player. And there are not many ways to farm cores other than planet league.
Never miss out on a Galaxy Cup. You can get plenty of UR capsules and UR cores by participating in one galaxy cup. Joining a good club is super important. Don't miss out on the extra rewards from club league and don't forget to enjoy the community :. I think that's all the things you want to do in daily game, finish the task, follow the event, check up on baseball superstars FB because sometimes it have an event.
There is no need to have multiple 2s or 3s. Note:- This is a general guide that tells you about the basic aspects of the game, Please check out the official Discord and subreddit for detailed Guides.
Below is a rough guide I had written a long time ago for our newer club members USA and TheStates on how to use cores. I'll keep trying to polish it but hopefully it'll be adequate for now to help familiarize newer players to the concept.
Cores are items that can be equipped by trainers that give a one-time boost to the player you're developing in My Player. In other words, when the player first encounters the trainer, they will experience the boosts from the core.
The higher the level of the trainer, the more cores they can equip. UR trainers the trainers whose "cards" are gold can equip a maximum of 5 cores at level 50, while SSR red trainers can equip a maximum of 4, and SR purple trainers can equip a maximum of 3. The one-time boosts may seem "small" at first but when you take into account the number of cores equipped, the difference can boost a player up significantly.
Cores are obtained as part of the randomly selected rewards from each Planet League game, and from the Planet Cubes you get from winning MVP awards at the end of the season, and for completing the season. This guide assumes you are familiar with Planet League, and will cover what to do with all these cores you've accumulated. First go to the main screen and select Trainers, then on the bottom left, "Manage Cores".
Then you should see a screen with all your cores, which are divided into 3 shapes - Triangle, Square yes it looks like a diamond, but they're called square cores , and Pentagon:. There's a button in the top right that makes it easy to upgrade your green N cores to blue R cores:. As you can see above it costs gold to upgrade cores.
It will also cost gold to unequip them from trainers - getting gold is important and thankfully Planet League allows you to farm both gold and cores. After you click the upgrade button you will see a summary of the upgraded cores obtained:. RNG will change it after I upgrade it:.
I've picked cores to use as fodder. Here's a core I may want to not use as fodder, the Str 17 isn't that bad but for this example I'll use it anyway for the sake of this example. Ideally a core needs to match the trainer's attribute meaning the small icon matches the trainer's attribute. So Bora is a strength trainer. I can equip her with a triangle Intelligence core with a small S in the bottom left. On the bottom right is the position the core matches.
The last 2 attributes of a core only work for a trainer who matches them. So my Bora only has 2 cores that match top to bottom, but it's ok to use mismatched cores, as you still get some benefit out of them There is so much variability in core values, and if you buy one from the coin shop do NOT buy the gold cores unless you want to roll the dice.
Usually you end up with a core with completely random values like this:. This closer skill point core should match Psyker perfectly but I chose not to use it on him. None of the values are maxed out but you can use the core as fodder to reset values in another UR core. Below is the reset screen. You can select a red transpotion to reset one option, or a gold transpotion to reset any of the properties and allow RNG to reroll.
You can also sacrifice a UR core instead of a gold transpotion. With cores it costs gold to transfer and unequip them. Train the best players by position! Build up an Affinity with trainers and learn unique Super Skills from them!
Train and show us what you got in Baseball Superstars ! You can disable in-app purchases through your device's settings. Let me say, I was stuck on baseball super stars But it ended up crashing all the time recently. And I finally gave in and got the new one. Feels like a Nintendo type baseball game all on ur phone.
Truly addicting. I wish there was just a story mode that you could play only like the old versions. They then can be assigned to your main team you use for season or online play. That is truly my only complaint. Wish I could just have a my player mode where I can make my person the video game version of Barry bonds and not have to worry about his storyline ending. But, the benefits greatly outweigh that negative.
The new features are crazy fun, and I am heavily invested in this game as well as Dokkan battle. If you have free time I certainly suggest downloading it. I used to be obsessed with Baseball Superstars The changes they made to are just not as enjoyable. I also think the art style of it was overall more enjoyable to the eye.
It has a lot of p2w aspects. Topic Archived. Sign Up for free or Log In if you already have an account to be able to post messages, change how messages are displayed, and view media in posts.
